I'm so thrilled to announce that Aura Marzouk Photography will have an intern for 2014. Meet Aleece! She is sure to be a great addition and I'm really looking forward to having her work with myself and all of my wonderful brides and grooms this spring. Here is a photo, and a few words from her. Have a read, and show her some blog love!
"Hi! My name is Aleece White and I am from Loganville, Georgia. When I was 10, I got my first digital, 5 megapixel camera that I took with me everywhere. Although those pictures were horrible, I was always trying new things and learning what made photos appealing. The year before I went off to college, my friends and I tried our hands at making a short film. That’s when I learned that I love video as much as photography. I also discovered how much more I had to learn. I decided to study cinema/video production and minor in photography at Bob Jones University in Greenville, SC. After two years of that, I realized that I would rather focus on photography and do video on the side, so I transferred to Randolph Community College in Asheboro, NC, which is the third best photography school in the nation. I am currently in my second year there, and will graduate at the end of the summer. I am excited to begin this internship with Aura as a part of my education in order to reach my full potential as a photographer."
